Lot of Politics in Deloitte USI INDIA Offices. Senior Managers are for name sake, they will ruin your life and they are just mental tortures. Favoritism at the peak. Get ready to be fired, if you are not in the good books of your manager. In short you have to do the polishing 24*7. India office is mostly dependent on the business and projects from Deloitte offices from other countries. I was a star performer, appreciated by the partners globally. But my India manager ruined my career in Deloitte. He is a Tamil guy, more biased towards his caste and culture. I am sad to depart from Deloitte.

I think the flexibility that Deloitte offers is amazing and as an employee, I am free to work from wherever I want to, and there is no micro management. The team is very professional and there is not much hierarchy.

Dislikes

The salary paid by Deloitte is not commensurate to the work. Appraisal, especially at Deloitte, India are not up to the mark and overall I believe you are underpaid significantly at Deloitte.

Salary and benefits are good. Its a age old company and the have many clients so you will get chance to work on various latest technologies

Work life balance is awful Getting promotion is very very tough

The people at Deloitte. It’s all about them. The culture is great and they pay well. I feel If you are working in a consulting environment, you cannot complain about the work. You just enjoy work and take those disconnects to relax and refill. They are paying well so I don’t have any complaints

Dislikes

I would not say it is about Deloitte but yeah It is about a few people at the leadership level and I feel, people at that level should be honest and reliable because their decisions have a larger impact on employees.

Although it's a project specific thing, but you can manage your work life balance in most of the projects for majority of the days. Company policies are mostly good from well being point of view.

...t. If you are a top tier MBA, Deloitte is definitely not a place for you now. 4. Salary is more than other Big4, but far less than other Tier A consulting firms. 5. Some of the P/D/ADs are very inefficient and slow in getting new client/project/doing regular job, and dependency on them is high. So many times you will get frustrated 6. Now there is nothing left in Deloitte to be proud of.
