Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The design team is filled with fun and smart people. Culture is amazing. Kudos to the India Core team who drive culture through and through. The company did very well for itself till 2023 and then due to bad management decisions, the decline was steep. Though the company has managed to stay afloat, there is a long way to go.

Dislikes

The founder needs to realise who is an asset and who is in the company only to loot it. Repeatedly choosing the wrong people to control the company, and single point ownership of operations has already drained the company both financially and resource-wise. Single point ownership to a management consultant and an under-experienced design manager will not only lead to more frustration amongst employees, but will also be the cause for the company decline. Board and management really have to reconsider who they give complete control to. The company have paid FnF to a lot of it's ex-employees and they don't seem to care about settling dues either.
