Dislikes

Is a company to retire from provided they take care of long serving employees in terms of compensation and benefits. In current market scenario a resource switching job every 3 year gets a hike of 30%. So, the CTC doubles every 5 year considering normal increment and one switch. Whereas the resources who stays for continuous 5/10/15 years develops huge difference in CTC unless taken care of year on year by the employers. But this is only offered by existing organisations only when some other organisation have already offered a good hike.

...een created and each Analyst is given adequate opportunity to learn and develop. The division is not a pay master compared to Bank KPOs which offer similar profiles but offers relatively better job security and work life balance. Also, good performers are rewarded for their efforts. Overall, a very good place to learn and hone credit analysis.

Dislikes

The Company is not a pay master so if you are a mediocre performer annual hikes may be disappointing. Even for good performers professional and career growth plateaus after reaching Lead Analyst level as there is no defined growth path after this position. Analysts are encouraged to move to other divisions of the Company which have a very different environment and culture.

...lity project so people mostly leave within 6 month due to job dissatisfaction. All AD and D at GR&A are useless people drawing hefty salary. Most people are in bench and layoffs happen every 6 months. The only task here is to modify CV as per client requirement and write white paper on things they aren't aware.

You can learn a great deal in terms of products, processes and management. It used to work like a startup,always new challenges and something new to learn.

Do not pay well even if your performance is good and have been promoted within organisations. New people hired with tags like CA, IIMs would end up in top positions and better payments. Some dept. have good performance management processes. Can't be said same for whole organisation.

The work life balance is exemplary, you will have managers and directors who are actually sane and human, don't have much idea about job security since it's a client based business so you know the drill but but but I can see a bigger number of employees who are working for more than 10-15 years now so you can get the idea, work pressure might vary from department to department but for me it was fun given I came from service industry and the work pressure was on a super saiyaan level (you know if you know) and here at Crisil you will love it the pressure negligible.

Dislikes

but the compensation and the promotion part is the part where things start to sour this would be the only game changer for an employee to plan for a switch otherwise overall it's a decent organisation to work with.
