Continental Group and its subsidiaries are great places to work, the company and its leaders always strive hard to keep this as an employee friendly company. Lot of flexible work options and process oriented work culture is really good and does not create unhealthy work pressure. Continental appreciates loyalty and are willing to extend support by allowing employees to come back, when they feel they did a mistake in moving to other companies. Continental believes in women empowerment and have set stage for growth of woman leaders at all the levels. Continental gives fair chance of growth and opportunities to employees by encouraging cross functional and cross country assignments based on need and competencies. Being a technology giant, Continental presents a lot of ways of learning new technologies and be a part of break through changes in the future ( Ex: Driver less cars etc. Electric cars,.)

Dislikes

Employee friendly work culture is being manipulated by some people and has changed it into a laid back work culture. Very process oriented there by making decisions complex and delayed. Less Customer orientation due to internal procedures and policies. Complex organization structure and improper goal alignment between different functions leading inter departmental politics which in turn create hindrance to deliver the results. Middle level management does not have good leaders which is the weak link. Because of the huge size and revenue individuals tend to give importance to their performance pay rather than company benefit. Though there is a robust appraisal system, in practice it all boils down to your boss's rating.
