The company culture is so terrible that prepares you mentally for the worst situations in your life.

Dislikes

Forced to work 12 hours a day and getting paid 50% less than the promised salary is most disliked part. You are never treated as an employee but treated as a slave. I would strictly advice the fellow readers to refrain from joining this organisation.

Colleagues. Because they only hire from top colleges in India like IIT, IIIT and NIT.

Dislikes

...ows: 1) They give higher CTC so they can enter the college placement earlier. 2) Dont expect to get bonus part in the CTC, because before that you will be fired. 3) Entry time - 10:30 AM. Post that you can't enter. Gates remain closed from 10:30 - 6:30. In that duration you can't get outside. 4) BYOD policy i.e you have to buy your own laptop and they will give max 75% of 90000 i.e around 65000 in EMI for 2 years. Again remember point 2. You won't get the money back because you will be fired within 1-2 months. 5) There are so many Cons. Read other answers also. Before joining please reach out to employees or ex employees. 6) After reading this, if you decide to join. All the best. 7) Also they mention about joining bonus. Before few days of your joining they will tell that they have recently changed the policy and will give after probably which for 3 months, it can extend as per their layoff plans. 8) One of the layoff parameter is deviation hour, means how much time you stay in company after 9 hours. They expect that you to stay there for 2-3 hours more than usual 9 hour shift. 9) Odd Saturdays are working days. Again deviation comes into play. So almost like a full day only.

They can just let you go anytime, letting you breath after a horrendous experience.

... on whether manager likes you or not (although they keep saying it's objective). A rating of <3 will get you 20% salary cut in the 1st month, 50% cut in 2nd and 75% in 3rd. Now isn't that goddamn wonderful? Also, you will get your salary in the middle of the month, and not like noob companies paying in the first week itself. 3. Top management has zero empathy, respect and courtesy towards employees and you will be made to feel like an idiot even after graduating from a Tier 1 college in India. So if you like to be insulted, Cogoport is your destination. 4. High work pressure is fine, but there is unnecessary pressure beyond that. The CTO checks working hours of every employee and points it out in front of everyone to ridicule you. According to him, productivity is directly proportional to working hours, and the more you stay in office even if you do nothing, the better worker you are. The CTO will randomly call you at his whim and fancy and insult you in front of everyone (sometimes behind your back). 5. Do you aspire to go to jail? Then Cogoport is your ideal workplace! You won't be allowed to leave the premises before the stipulated time of 6:30pm. You can't even leave your floor at designated times of the day and have to please the security guard in order to earn that right to movement. 6. If you don't want to do anything in your life and still earn money, being an HR rep at Cogoport is the way to go. You have no power, no responsibility, no decision making headache. Everything is dictated by the honourable CEO and COO, and HR just parrots it back to you, most of the time leaving huge space for ambiguity which results in confusion and frustration. 7. Why work peacefully and create a safe space for creativity to flourish when you can always feel threatened with being laid off for no damn reason. And then you WILL be laid off for a made up reason (could range from lower than average working hours even if it's beyond the manadated hours, or poor performance, or disinterest, or taking "too many" leaves), depending on whatever can be used against you. 8. Oh and do you want the company to invest in hardware like laptops? That ain't happening, suqqa! With Cogoport's "robust" BYOD policy, you can bring your own device, or be fooled to buy a high end MacBook from the company's vendor and be reimbursed just 75% of the amount of a basic model, in 24 MONTHS! WOOHOOO!

They should bring more discipline among the employess, employess are asked not to clock more that 9 hrs, which is absolutely crime for a growth oriented company. Everyone should work for 90-100 a week. Ohhh They already are , my bad Empoyees should be only be judged only on working hrs and line of code and no of PRDs you have written.
