Nothing! Management is poor! Worked for Google project “Zelus” said it would be a cloud based project but when my joining started it was a customer service based job! How can you lie on the job description? One of the worst company I have worked with ! Would recommend not to join this shi!!y org!

Poor management, no proper timings, management makes you work extra, no pay out for that extra work, behavioral issues with management! Seems like you do not work for the company but for them “managers” one of the worst lead called “Naresh” micro manages everything and yet you will be hospitalised for taking pressure as he will make you work by pin pointing your mistakes! Who ever is reading this, I would suggest yall do not go for it!

Cognizant has its strengths, but I feel there's room for improvement in several areas beyond just salary. For me, the overall experience hasn’t aligned with my expectations.

In my personal experience, I have faced challenges with the lack of qualified managers and team leads. For instance, in our team, we work from different locations, and our team lead rarely conducted regular team huddles. Even when I, as a senior, tried to take responsibility and initiate meetings, he would often find reasons to stop or postpone them. Over the course of the year, he connected with the team only four or five times, which was far from adequate for effective team collaboration. Additionally, my manager has been disconnected from the team for over a year. When he first joined during a critical transformation period, he did not take the time to observe the team members' expertise, interests, or long-term goals. This lack of involvement left us feeling unsupported and undervalued. One major concern was the cultural bias I experienced. Being from Chennai and a Tamil speaker, I noticed a clear difference in how I and others like me were treated compared to team members from Hyderabad, particularly Telugu-speaking colleagues. This disparity in treatment created a sense of alienation and made it difficult to feel like a cohesive part of the team.

The work hours used to affect my work life balance and I feel that salary increments and promotions are slower compared to competitors.

Cognizant has strong capebilities in delivering technology services with a robust support. People are satisfied working here but since past couple of years company has not given ample opportunitiesto employees in terms of growth and compensastion

Not good approasal No timely appraisal No promotion policies No standard salary parameters as per exp No benchmarking for compensastion

If you swith to Cognizant, they will provide good salary compared to other service based company. They also push their associate for skill development with regular certification drive.

The appraisal system dropped drastically in couple of years. Very minimum salary hike with high ratings.
