1. Cognizant has got in-house Academy to fully train freshers, as well as periodic trainings for employees are also conducted. 2. Work Environment depends upon the team and project we join, but overall it is quite good as compared to other companies. 3. Job Security has never been a question for me, as well as for most of the employees. I have never heard of someone getting fired against his/her will. 4. Learning Opportunities are better in terms of stakeholder management, since most of the projects require client interaction on regular basis. 5. Onsite opportunities are in quite a good number, but so do the eligible candidates. 6. Everything follows a proper hierarchy and a process, so unexpected events of unfair/Injustice are likely not to happen.

Dislikes

1. Compensation is decent but Growth is not exponential if we continue with the company. A person with 5 years in the same company Cognizant is likely to get lesser wage than the one who is coming to Cognizant with 5 years of outside experience (lateral). 2. Technical Learning largely depends upon the project and account you get. So if you are stuck into a less technical project, your learning opportunities are likely to die out. 3. Work politics also play a small/mediun role here in the company, but again that depends upon the team and account you get.

In my current project there is some flexibility of work but when compared to other projects it is hell

There are many points 1. promotion criteria which is worst in all mnc. 2. salary hike is negligible. 3. even there is no such activities happened which makes you motivated through out the year.

Good salary and promtion/hikes. However hikes have significantly decreased in last few years. Work life balance is good. Good learning opportunities.

There is no job security here currently due to the current job market scenario.

In one year, I observed When managers and team leads don't understand the requirements and simply say "just do it," it becomes challenging for developers to proceed with the development work.
