Cognizant is good if we talk about job security and work life balance. They also have some good projects to work on. You may get onsite opportunity as per the project requirements. You will have flexibility of locations to work on.

Dislikes

Promotions are difficult to take. Salary is less for freshers and to get salary hike you will need to resign. Learning is good and udemy is free. They have worst process for taking reimbursement for internet allowances. Almost 80% employees are not getting internet allowance.

Likes

Perfect place to upskill yourself. As a fresher I learned a lot of things in the span of 2 years and still learning which I'm most happy about.

Dislikes

My only dislike about Cognizat is my salary. But for me, either you should learn or earn.. as long as I'm learning my CTC doesn't matter:)

...anager is transparent. There us a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are said and they give good salary hike.

Nothing much about dislike, as I have started my career with cognizant as work from home I did t get much time in office might be that will be the dislike

No Increment or hike, no exposure, no recognition Due to some Team Lead people are feelings unrecognized and Working with team lead who is not clear about the task or overall architecture.

Likes

Welcoming mentality in trainings when initially joined and good bunch of yearly perks like bonus and team outings. Casual wear was good.

Dislikes

high pressure working environment in most of the projects and no respect from higher management towards hard time put in. Always asked to do more without much incentives or recognition. Work-life balance never considered especially one is having to stay near by and bachelor (probably the thought process was if bachelor, no family constraint).
