There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

1. Salary and appraisal is not upto the mark. 2. Growth is slow 3. working hours 11-12 hours in a day(dependents on your project) 4. Work pressure is very high is sometimes(dependents on your project/less FT's)

Likes

...as career. You will feel confident, industry ready and they will well groom you. They pay good among tcs infosys. Work culture is good. Management varies from project to project. Mine was okey okey. Companies policy is good. Sometimes location constraints do happen for certain people but later on by project and all they manage to get there desire location (talking about before pendamic).

Dislikes

My overall expirence was good. Today what I am is because of cognizant. I would not say I disliked anything but yes I feel some people deserve to get good rating to get promoted. I am not saying they give worst rating but always put you in average bracket. That must be communicated with employee with the perfect reason not just for formalities shake.

learning materials, top company, good package for freshers. Good learners can easily gain advantage of this within 2 years of joining.

Dislikes

career growth, even if you have top rating it is waste. Only in media they say fit for growth. But it's not like. Managers are not given correct directions on policies. Because of which promotion is not given. Politics is everything here. If you joined the company as fresher Better switch the company if you feel they don't deserve your talent and play politics.
