Job Security Was Good in Cognizant and like Timing Shift and what Salary is providing for me is iam satisfactory for that .... Truly iam saying that iam interested with Cognizant because IT Sector i want to work and next and also team mates mingling support

They hire most of freshers. Monday to Friday working. Work culture is good and teammates are suppourtive.

Dislikes

They don't want to pay for holiday working and leaves you will get rarely. Target pressure is high.

The only thing I like about the company is that salary is provided on end of the same month.

Work Culture is Pathetic & this started after the New CEO joined the company. the company had a very good work culture before the new CEO joined. No Increments since past 4 years for Sr. Manager & Above except some exceptions which happened only in 2021 due to lot of attrition. Rating for Sr. Manager & Above are mandatory given at average level to 98% of employees & next year the same HR will compare last 2 years ratings and again provide average ratings to employees which reduces the variable pay & also reduces chances for further promotion. attrition rate of company in past 90 days is 21%. External resources do not join this company as there is no Bench policy in this company which was removed after the new CEO joined. There is no motivation to work as people slog for more than 12 hours a day at all levels. There are only bosses working in the company & leaders are absent. Each one will try to keep his boss happy. No New client have been added since past 2 years & Old clients are have become hard to manage due to high resource attrition. 10 hours work culture has become mandatory in this company. think 15 times before joining this company.

Working at cognizant really helps me a lot both in personal and professional way .The work life balance & company culture was good and the allowances they provide apart from the salary was excellent...I really enjoyed my 3 years at Cognizant.

Dislikes

One thing I dislike about these companies are there is no guarantee of job security...they will pick 10/15 employees and moved them to different project within the company (internal movement)..which I think is a part of business but needs to be reviewed....

As working here is quite good when your manager is cooperative. Though In previous two years work and manager both was good no complaints for them and i worked from home till now and everyone was cool.

Dislikes

Now during current project my so called manager is psycho. Here in cognizant manager also do coding but he is like only I have to do everything and he just wants credit for it. Even to other squads he is like only he is doing work. He oftenly insulted me and two other team mates. I talked with my home manager but no benefit. Only you have to suffer in that scenario.
