I have been learning new technologies since day one, so learning is never stopped for me after joining cognizant

Cognizant will not pay you well , Even if you are eligible for a better pay at the correct time they will release you from the project so that they don't have to promote you

Company culture was very good. Senior management was also good.

Dislikes

...security, suddenly one day you will know that now your not part of your project. Salary and other benefits are very less as compared to other it company.

I joined Cognizant as a fresher and it’s a best place for starting your career. Culture is very good maybe because of company USA origin. I got good ratings for my hard work without any politics.

Dislikes

Salary and hike is low. Waiting period for promotion is so high even though if you have top year end rating.

In my current project there is some flexibility of work but when compared to other projects it is hell

There are many points 1. promotion criteria which is worst in all mnc. 2. salary hike is negligible. 3. even there is no such activities happened which makes you motivated through out the year.

Salary comes on time. Leaves also gets approved easily.

Dislikes

No work life balance. No projects in company so they silently fires. Not so good culture. Not so get promotion(1-5%hike only) or no benefits (whole year). Not that much bonus yearly.
