The work culture is employee friendly. The policy are good for a relaxed work environment. There are many platforms for learning opportunities. The travel opportunities are more in IT projects. Lot of emphasis on Automation in Large Projects.

Dislikes

Very Poor Pay Master. C&B policies are unclear and defies logic. Over the last few years, leadership has a disconnect with bottom level employees. Highly cost and margin driven since 2017. Lack of mentoring of mid-level managers

Working at cognizant really helps me a lot both in personal and professional way .The work life balance & company culture was good and the allowances they provide apart from the salary was excellent...I really enjoyed my 3 years at Cognizant.

Dislikes

One thing I dislike about these companies are there is no guarantee of job security...they will pick 10/15 employees and moved them to different project within the company (internal movement)..which I think is a part of business but needs to be reviewed....

As working here is quite good when your manager is cooperative. Though In previous two years work and manager both was good no complaints for them and i worked from home till now and everyone was cool.

Dislikes

Now during current project my so called manager is psycho. Here in cognizant manager also do coding but he is like only I have to do everything and he just wants credit for it. Even to other squads he is like only he is doing work. He oftenly insulted me and two other team mates. I talked with my home manager but no benefit. Only you have to suffer in that scenario.

1. Low job security 2. Forcing people to work from office(ODC) 3. Mostly support projects 4. Very low transparency with poor management 5. Work satisfaction is very average

Despite the fact that cognizant is not directly involved, the management team is the worst because I had a bad rating once and spoke with my HR about it. She said that it was illogical to claim to be able to speak Hindi, and they do not care about employees. While some employees are excellent, favoritism is a non-issue in the Kolkata office. I will not receive any better senior support that would help me start from scratch.

...a result, you will be highly appreciated with a very bad rating and feedback. 5. salary is very low and there is no hike or promotion if you are not favourite candidate of your manager
