Management will not care about your problems. Salary is low compared to competitors. They'll change your project at September and for year end rating they'll simply say we haven't got chance to fully understand your capabilities as you've recently joined in the project. Every year this loop continues. No matter how hard you work or how many appreciations you get from client. "The more number of days you're in the same LOB, the more rating you'll get." (This is the excuse I've got when I questioned about the rating, despite having multiple client appreciations). This demotivates for sure!

Cognizant have lot of job opportunities and provide nice pay according to market standards. People working in cognizant can switch to other technology and work on it.

Dislikes

Hikes are very less when compare to other companies. Due to internal politics talented people efforts are recognised.

... hrs shifts and with cab travel, it's 14 hrs shift. Rapid hire and fire company. You get no compensation and have 30 days to find a new job.

...you will come across all IT companies. Just learn to survive, upskill and excel. Do not depend on your job or salary, have multiple streams of income without moonlighting and switch jobs whenever you get a good opportunity. Work for your own success not for the company.

... HRs will contact employee and putting pressure on employe to forcefully resign. But they give 5 months full salary for the employees. After resignation
