The culture and work life balance they foster is worth appreciating and the people/colleagues I have come across in Cognizant, are all wonderful.

Dislikes

Salary and compensation is very average, and I am not satisfied with the increment I am getting, which is an important factor for every employee.

Cognizant is great company. You will have a comfortable work life and learning would be great, with a decent salary.

Dislikes

You will be given project which you actually don’t want to work for or if you get a project of your choice possibility is high that there will be politics involved. People are god but not genius. Most people are average but some are really brilliant.

Only very few aspects like they have given salary on time during pandemic

Didn't like the work culture in Cognizant and few supervisors are forcing employees to come to office during this critical hours

I was fortunate enough to have been a part of some great teams, and managed by an encouraging manager. Cognizant groomed as a professional in the best way possible, and gave me a platform to learn, challenge, and grow. I have had a great work-life balance as well.

The organization may work on better compensation benefits.

But if you give more importance to mental health than salary don't join this company. You are literally a slave of the client and no body will speak for you.. and if your too lucky to get a client like Novartis(pharmaceutical company) and especially get into celonis tool project then you can say bye bye to your mental health and just hug the salary you get and stay. Working hard is not the issue but the politics they play and the slavery you guys will experience is more than what was done in the colonization period. Hope everyone understands my mental health state currently and would deeply analyze before joining cognizant or Novartis.
