I got a good project manager. Somehow I can able to manage in my project. I heard lot of accounts in retail are shutdown. It is very bad news. They are yet to announce promotions and hike. Very bad situation in cognizant.

Dislikes

Lot of politics. No salary hike for the good performance employees. Instead of taking outside employees giving more salary. Lot of good employees are there inside. They will give the same salary to be part of cts employee should be happy and work will be more productive.

Likes

I love the opportunity to work from home offered to me, got a project laptop. Salary is always credited on 30th of every month or earlier, without any delays. Location preferences are always entertained by the HR team, but technology preference is not always entertained in a likewise manner. Company has lots of long running L2 support, L3 support and Testing projects - and you can stay in this company for years without much worries taking home a constant salary every month.

Dislikes

...nts - so they dont train anyone within their organisation on any niche skillset. HR department stops hiking your salary once you stay in this company for more than 3 years - because they believe you are going to switch any time ; Got only 1.17 % hike per year in last 4 years ; yearly incentive payment was delayed to all employees for 6 months in 2017.

Because it is a MNC, It depends on project to project. From the project I worked I am saying my pros Work life balance is good and they don't rush you, they will give their time to learn and evolve and acquire knowledge. Higher management is good and they value your opinion and you feel empowered. Job security is good and as far as I know there were no layoffs.

Dislikes

...e low and with H1's getting rejected, one may feel insecured about their career. If you are a lateral and if you are joining with good package, I would suggest to go because it would be a great company in terms of work life balance and job security. But if you are a techie and want to learn new technologies, consider your option and rethink
