Cogent is the worst company I've ever seen. No motivating work culture. Senior managers keep abusing their juniors in front of every one on the floor, junior managers do the same with thier under working and same with things ends up with executive who is only to listen and face consequences in terms of salary deductions, un-timed week offs , no leaves when u in need, marking half days without any cause etc. First cogent say they are hiring you for inbound voice calls, then during training they will start saying that you have to do up-sale the products also and after training they will give you targets of sale. And if you hit the target some how,their eyes is on finding a minor single mistake in order to deduct money. Hence horrible company. No mental/professional satisfaction here. Provide salary 10days late.

This is a company which has a muti tiered scam system. During the interview process, I cleared my salary expectations in the very start, they made me go through 4 rounds of interview ( each 1.5 hours), then manipulated me to submit my documents before even releasing the offer letter by telling me that is how the offer letter will be released, then after 2 days, they happened to offer the salary which was even lesser than my current CTC. If they don’t have the budget, they should tell candidates upfront. There is no exception for late punch-in (even a sec late isn’t exempted) and they will mark as half day for each day a person is late. No proper hierarchy. Bad and dirty politics.

Working with cogent for past 8 months and prior to rhis arrangement worked with them for 4 months still they did not provide benefits they promised 3 years ago. They started PF facility past month.

...ion for the leave and afterwards they do not marked as leave or consider as one. It will be deducted fro your salary. Not hygienic we get one toilet paper roll per day (Not per employee) and when asked to housekeeping staff the reason they say as per management they are working.

...orked 4 years I have not even taken single comp off I don't know where was that.still I didn't get 15 days salary after surving the notice period called HR ,MANAGER and main breach but there no response. This is what the management. I completed disappointed because 15 days salary is not small amount for me per day 8 to 9 hours I am spend my time gave my best why should I leave and if any one came and asking me to work in cogent I will never suggest him to work.

Dislikes

Here the name is brought for promotion but it is fooled that the name is brought for promotion because the number of employees is too much so that it does not go away. If I talk about myself, I worked for 2.5 years, got name but there was no promotion, that is why I left the company at last.
