Company is good for working environments,

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 9 to 10 hours straight in a day as I have to attend sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals’ unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my work, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes.

Its a company that helps you develop your skills. Freedom in decision taking is what I love about the work culture.. Its a leader in the state in automobile sales. Tough enviorment to work in but prepares you for anything in future. Team size is huge handling over 180 people.. a chanllenge in itself but there never a dull day at work. Always on your toes. I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
