The work at Cerner is of immense importance and directly impacts patient care.

Dislikes

1. The salary and compensation are extremely below the market bracket. 2. The management does not provide hikes and promotions to deserving candidates and uses the excuse of the Oracle merger. 3. Even after one obtains the highest performance rating, the hike is the same as the base rating. 4. Even if you discuss this with the management they suggest looking for a job OUTSIDE Cerner if money is important (I don't know any professional for whom money is NOT important). 5. There is less/no scope for learning and development whatsoever. 6. The saddest part of it all is that these issues started in 2019 and went downhill from 2020 (since Covid). Work culture, Care for Employees, Compensation, everything is now completely gone.

The compensation and benefits are just ridiculously bad. Especially after covid. No promotion They will you the lowest hike even after the BEST performance rating. Its just ridiculous.

Job security and learning opportunities

Dislikes

The Compensation and Benifits are not at all up to the market. To give a better idea, I am getting offers for 200% more than my current salary at Cerner. It is very difficult to live in Bangalore with this salary.

...ew technology exposure and updates especially from infrastructure point of view. No proper hikes and bonus. Not an employee friendly organization.Suited for freshers from my point of view.

For freshers dey wud provide a decent package. Dey wud give iPhone.

Dislikes

Pathetic work life balance. If you end up in global team CWx, consider you would lose your personal life. You wud be given a mobile, so they can reach out to you on weekends, holidays, festivals and even late nights to login. And in terms of technology or skill development you won’t learn anything. But yes you might end up learning how to play politics in your work life. They say it is product based company but it is worst than a service based company. U need to work a lot and neither u gain knowledge out of that work. I would strongly recommend you to find some good company.
