Good learning opportunities initially for fresher during training and bench periods but once you get into the project then it totally depends on your project. Good work life balance still we are following hybrid model whereas many sister companies have already begin 5 days work from office.

Salary hikes and appraisal are non existent even if you get good rating don't expect much No matter how well you do in projects appraisals are given based on rating and if you belong to particular rating you will get same amount of hike irrespective of your individual contributions

...agers somehow end up here and its not good in terms of appraisal or promotions.. salary is very low compared to market standards. But ots a big name so if u get offer pls join and stay for a few years if u dont have any other offers.. take experience as it is important when u switch.

Company culture is good but if you are a fresher in Capgemini please get in touch with Manager for performance appraisals. No body will come and tell you what to do for performance appraisal

Compensation is low, growth is slow. We have to take late night calls. I do receive appreciation mails from client as well as team members appreciating our work

Teammates were good. Training was okay-ish. There was job security.

Dislikes

Salary and career growth was worse. They pay the same amount to guys all over the India and no city benefits were given. Like staying and working in Mumbai is pretty expensive compare to Kolkata or Chennai. They paid 21K (In hand per month). There was a lot of politics in all the teams. I was lucky enough to work in a team where there was no politics. But none for the team was able to survive in Capgemini.
