I started my carrier with Capgemini and worked here for 2 years 8 months. Work culture, company policies are really awesome. Job is secure here as well. I never got to know hire and fire stories here. Management is good as well. Working here will make you happy I feel. Infrastructure of Capgemini is way to Awesome. Never worked during weekends here.

Dislikes

Salary and other benefits could be enhanced I feel. Even rating system is totally manager based, good talented people sometimes end up getting 3 rating. Rest all is great, and I feel these issues exits mostly everywhere.

Depending upon your N+1 and Delivery Manager your professional life will do up and down. Plenty opportunities to learn new stuff.... Udemy and multiple other offers to train unr self.

There is job security if you are performing average or above average too. The mentality/ culture of company is of service based. so as long as you have project , you are safe obiously but even if you are not on project then also you will enough oppurtunity to save your poaition.

Dislikes

In terms of salary and promotion , management says they doea not have anything in their hand. After covid they sets mind of employee of low to no incrwment. even if your project is doing well then also you wont have a good increment or in some cases low increment too.

Likes

1.Work-life balance was good since beginning of the project but recently we acquired one more project with the same strength in numbers. 2.Do hard work, management will give you promotion without any blockers. 3.Complete job security will be provided and training will be given to the bench candidates on new adaptive technologies 4.Overall company culture is good. 5.Company politics are there if you search with microscopic view.

Dislikes

The salary will never be adequate to what amount of work you deliver. On an average, the salary is 40-50% less compared other big service based MNC's

Culture and team work and support but it's depend on team to team.

Dislikes

Low salary hike, Rating and Promotion is very low and you will be strictly asked to work from office no matter what other wise don't expect rating and you will get mail from hr department directly like they will take some strict action and you if not come.
