...lient, there's much learning opportunity. Not much to tell good things about CG. For experienced people ( non- fresher's) who join, they might get good package.

No WLB. Less leaves. Joining as a fresher in CG, might be very painful. No/rare hikes, no bonus, no goodies. Nothing is here.

I'm here to spit some hard facts here as per my experience. This company is not at all worth joining in terms of managerial perspective. You have zero job security, they are currently on hire and fire mode. They got me seperated even I was delivering better result as compared to few other employees. Totally depends on managers mood. And here comes the worst part: This company tracks the hours that you being online. Suppose if you're being online for 6 hours a day and working nicely. Doesn't matter... They'll take action on the basis of timing availability even if you didn't missed anything. No matter you're working till 10 PM night, you've to deliver before deadline that's it.

Very nice workplace. People with positive attitude. Good learning platform. Variety of projects such as Developments, testing, automations, migrations,etc.

Dislikes

Salary structure is outdated. Market gives more than 100% hikes than what Capgemini gives.

The best (and worst thing) about Capgemini is, as a fresher, you could get tagged to any project. If you are lucky, you can land a great development project where you will learn a lot and get lots of support to grow. Capgemini invests a lot in their resources up-skilling, sponsoring lots of MOOQs and certifications which will help you a lot down the line. Work life balance depends on the project you are in, but the work environment is casual enough to feel at ease.

...ce period cannot be relaxed even if you are on bench, it can only be bought out. Hikes are low, but to be fair the compensation is at par or better than other service-based IT companies.

... and junior managers don't know how to talk with new joiners or with employees. Hr's and manager are too confused about job role and salary/ location discussion. At first they agree on everything but once you joined they company they deny on everything that has been discussed earlier even if it's on mail ..and put you on bench and after 6 months asked you to leave due to bench period over or you are not able to be billable. Also your probation with not be confirmed and having said that they will kick you out of the company. Even if you complain to HR about the issues. So if you want to stay in this company don't stand for your rights and just stay as per them because manager and HR ...they can change policy anytime as per their convenience and ask to to obey otherwise there will be termination which leads to no job security in this company.
