I've found that Byju's has a very challenging work culture, with high pressure and demanding expectations. However, if you can learn to manage your tasks efficiently and develop a good workflow, it becomes easier to handle the daily workload and navigate the environment.

Nothing. Joining BYJU's was a biggest mistake in my life.

... that. If you are on your fast, they don't give you time to break your fast. 2. Salary/Appraisals: Appraisals are delayed by 4 to 5 months. Variable pays are a joke. They do not pay. When you ask for the same, they say they have no update about it. HRBP team sucks, they do not exist and they are not at all transparent. 3. Job security: There is no job security. Any time they can lay you off. And, if you ask any reason, they will threaten you by telling that you will be terminated and you will not get your salary. 4. Learning/skill development: Though this is an edtech company, they do not give a f**k about employees skill development. 5. Work satisfaction: No quality work, they do not have any set processes across org, even if you have any good ideas, they are not taken into consideration and a lot of favouritism across org. Higher level management are lazy af and they just delegate it to teams without any clear vision. They are clueless about what is happening in the org. 6. Company culture: They do a lot of scams, they fool the customers as well as employees. They do a lot of false promises and they do not even follow their own refund policies. If you do not login before 10:30 AM, then your attendance will considered as absent and you will get LOP. HRs do not take responsibility for anything. In the name of cost cutting they have removed tissue papers from washrooms. And they name this as they are in the path of profitability. There is no upward feedback/360 degree feedback mechanism and even if you share feedback to your managers, they are not confidential. In fact managers create WhatsApp groups and start targeting you on those groups. Few managers start posting messages from 4 AM itself and they expect you to respond. No WFH at all: Even if you have a valid reason for wfh, they will not give you wfh even for medical emergencies.

Everything related to work life balance, your growth and your happiness in the company is completely related to your boss. Because there is no policy in place to support any employees in Byju's.

...will be next in layoff list. No proper growth and guidance in your portfolio. Salary deductions will out any reason. PF for sep 2022 to Jan 2023 is not credited mentioning that company is not having money. Mico management at the peak, so that employees will leave their own.

...n your hobbies, any exam preparation or to spend with your family and friends. The salary is wayyy less than the work they make you do, it's good for higher positions but for associates, sr associates and even asst manager, it's just not enough. There's no structure in world, everything is just so messy. You are never appreciated. There's basically no job security, no matter what position you hold.

... and largest Ed-Tech company. It is a great place to work and start your career. They offer tempting compensation packages and perks. They do have a great office space to work in. As a fresher, I was able to really push myself forward with the help of my amazing team at BYJU'S
