Local management . Other than delivery there are many things to contribute. Local managers dont care about business and delivery. parallel leadership in india is killing the company. too many meetings without any use. Cab facilities are worst. No proper parking facilities. Heavy rush in small cafetarias.local management talk more about innovation but dont care about basic neccessities. All are puppets of senior managers(dont prefer to call them leaders)

...BER: It's not bank, India setup is subsidiary which has nothing to do with Bank. You will like a call center guy, but with different work(technical) and with okaish pay. Why I compare with call centre? Because you have to sit for 9 hours straight, managers are super not so cool. Micro Management is something which i always hated. And you have to sit at odd timings, 12:30 to 9:30. Friday's will be busy. Wondering why? How? Because Americans would finish their work meetings before 12 or 2pm and for us that would be 6pm onwards till 9:30. These people are decent enough to not make you work beyond your shift, but guess what, India has highest number of working hours. US peeps works 40 hours. Australians 38 hours and Indians 45 hours. And guess who gets paid more or who gets better facilities? If you are still confused or new to corporate then answer will be US. india in all offices will have the least benefits. That's how they save millions of dollars by employing Indians. I'm exhausted. These people says we thrive on social connections, interaction with clients, teams, etc. True, absolutely true, but atleast see it countrywise or department wise. India has 0 (aryabhatta level) of interaction with clients, yet we thrive. India can thrive on wfh with 1/4th of pay as against US peer.

Everything except pay. Even in today's world if you say using internet you can't socialise , or collaborate with different teams and you need to do it physically, then be my guest and go to office, but don't force others.

The Bank has room for improvement in several areas. One notable concern is the allocation of meaningful work for managers. It appears that majority of managers, DHs and DLs are involved in internal politics rather than focusing on the success of the bank, which can be disheartening for employees who strive to make genuine contributions without resorting to flattery.

...o place a greater emphasis on recognizing talent and hard work across the board. The current system, where recognition, awards, promotions, and salary increases appear to be concentrated among a select few, has contributed to a toxic and demotivating workplace culture. Addressing these concerns and promoting a more equitable and inclusive work environment would be instrumental in elevating the organization’s overall quality and culture.

Salary× Promotion /ratings× Hike doesn't even cover the inflation rates Some processes are good but mine was the worst Won't hire people even if we have loads of volumes for atleast 11 months a year. Indirectly pressure the employees to extend without any extra pay No night allowance Cafeteria is quite expensive for the allowance we are provided- 1300 per month Overcrowded workspaces No trips No outings
