Job Security Part of Aveva is excellent as it is completely evident in Covid-19 phase when most of the companies (even giant companies) were giving layoff to their employees, Aveva was still holding its position. Work Culture in Aveva is excellent, it is as transparent as water. Company Policies are very employee friendly, it gave me extra leaves in case of my marriage, my mother's hospitalization and in case of my father's funeral so you don't need to worry about leaves in critical situation. This company gives a perfect Work life balance to its employees which makes working at aveva more interesting and enjoyable.

Dislikes

Only drawback of working at Aveva is Salary Graph. There is huge difference in compensation to a person having 6 yrs of experience and a person who has recently joined company with 8 yrs of experience. Though both of them are working on same project with equal responsibilities. Also the salary growth graph doesn't looks so promising.

Likes

Good work culture. Professional and personal with co-employees. Flexible hours. Environment related activities by HR team. WFH from last year and company WFH essentials amount sanctioned which is good. Cross team involvement gives new tool exposure.

Dislikes

...ll projects are being delivered and WFH company saved a lot but cancelled hikes. Instead of annual variable pay they should make it annual bonus constant irrespective of company's performance.

Likes

The company provides great opportunities in terms of learning and development through various mediums. Explicit training, online portals, in-team training etc. Also, I like the work culture, everybody is supportive and respectful. You are free to communicate your thoughts despite the designations, all are treated as equal. Also working with diverse colleagues from different regions is always a learning experience.

Dislikes

Compensation. I think it bottoms down to your manager. Sometimes your hard work goes unnoticed unless explicitly expressed. That's a disappointment at times because you might deliver more and get less. This is especially annoying when you don't like to justify your work.

Likes

The work-life balance is very good. The management is reachable. Very good working culture. HR policies are good. Best place to learn from various platforms (Pluralsight, Coursera, Internal knowledge sharing forums, Internal wiki). Management encourages for innovation ideas. Conducts Hackathon on every year. Health policy, Car Lease policies are good. Employees will get AVEVA shares in 1:1 ratio.

Dislikes

... Since it's a product based company onsite opportunities are limited for 1 week. Compensation is average. Less opportunities learn new technologies from project, but there are opportunities to learn from Pluralsight and Coursera. As the employee count is 1000+, some times politics exists.

Aveva is a nice company to work with, Work culture here is convenient and comfortable. I like the fact that I am being part of a reliable, robust, and sophisticated team in developing and architecting products. I am surrounded here by good mentors and great collaborators.

Dislikes

...gh we don't get major opportunities here working with cutting-edge technologies. But, In terms of salary, there is a substantial difference compared to the market. There are no travels at all, this is a major problem to get training from the offshore team. Politics Never heard or experienced in Aveva.
