Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

I like the freedom over here, The partner has full trust on employee & give full rights for clients related decisions. All employees are worked with free hand.

Dislikes

The Compensation is decent, but growth rate is slow & the work pressure is high special on due dated & month end. there are lot of due dates after GST roll-out.

The people here are simple guys, unlike the so called big4 they don't follow the aggressive approach of working.

Dislikes

Considering the name they carry in the market, they really need to work on the compensation part.

No work life balance Give excessive pressures on articles. No cooperation to Articles. Baised Managers are very bad at ASA. High level of politics in office. Unnecessary meetings. No scope for growth as client base is not good.
