No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

...se who went back to their hometown they were also provided laptop via courier. In this tough time we got our salary on time or sometimes early.HR made sure that the employee engagement activities still goes on and on one should feel left out via video calls. Because of Infostretch only I haven't suffered from any crisis during this tough time.

Dislikes

Although there are a positive sides of this company,just like any other company it has negative side too. Based on performance infostretch let people go every year but this that count was bigger due to this situation.Many people have been ask to leave again this was based on performance only.

Company has its own goal and clear view on in which path it wants to grow.That clarity in a way helps the employee to set their personal development goals too. They strictly adhere to the standards in all of their project no matter what, which again helps to grow an individual.Work culture varies project to project.For some you will feel like this is the best environment to work and for some you feel really stressed out as there is no work life balance.For those who wants to learn new technologies, this is the company one should find. Overall it is a great company to work with.

If you have healthy relations with your seniors your growth position and compensation will be taken care of even if you are lacking somewhere in your skills.It is tough to get your skills recognised until your seniors are supportive and genuine.It is pure hierarchical structure in which you can not move further until you have approval from your seniors.They still have arrangement when you can directly go and talk your concerns which in way never looked upon.Some times we need to work more than 10 hours due to urgency of deliverables still it is considered as PROJECT REQUIREMENT instead of getting it noticed. For some projects they do not consider the quality of deliverables, instead they consider for how long you have been seated on the desk. Once you get into the system you will feel at some extent there is lot of politics and favouritism. At time of appraisals they look into ratings so if you have good ratings and you don’t get compensation according to it, their excuse will be ratings and appraisals are not related.If you have average or low ratings and you have concern with your appraisal then rating matters.

It does not have many clients just one major is Goldman Sachs and they call to office all 5 days and there's a discrimination between contingents and employers on the client side.

No job security - no project you are fired ( they don't absorb you in other projects) which can lead to spoiling your entire career if you join the company and you are not lucky enough about projects, no proper pay based on designation given, no initial or skill development trainings, no proper communications by HRs and management, not many people within the company are supportive. Interal politics among different locations management.

They dont take any stand. They will agree with whatever client says, if client is saying to work 7 days a week for 2 months, they are asking employee to support client in hardships..etc. Dont have any Stand as a company
