Long work hours , 9 hrs of work each day and during peak they will make you work for 10 hrs and also 6th day Overtime . There is no work life balance here and holidays , personal leaves are not granted here .

The company has very high standards when it comes to the quality of the work done. The topmost engineers and managers get to work in teams that are related to AWS in Amazon and this leads to a highly competitive work environment. At the same time, because of the diverse use cases that AWS customers have with the AWS products, the innovation factor is very high and hence we get to see a lot of services released every year in AWS :ReInvent.

...e that you might not even get a minimum appraisal and be thrown out of your job. The compensation looks quite good in the beginning, but as you stay on in the company, you begin to realize how heavily the whole system is tilted towards the company maximizing the benefit of overworking its employees. The company claims to be a customer centric organization and while it is exactly that on every level, but that comes at a cost of being not so employee centric. Targets which seem impossible to achieve unless you do not extend your shift, a work culture that is becoming toxic by the day and a metric only focussed company are the negatives that can drive you away from the company.

Salary is decent if coming from service based orgs, less than product based organisations. You get ample of leaves.

You will come to office daily. Work is repetitive amdnot interesting. Taking promotion specially from l5 to l6 is almost impossible and is dependent on your luck. Your project performance is not counted. Ridiculous goals and failure to complete you will get PIP. All these are cons of proserv stay away if you are happy and are willing to switch just for money
