Work is very monotonous one can't develop new skills in this job. Career growth is very slow even if you're a top performer. The worst thing is now in ADS they give you a CSOS system in which literally everything is blocked you can't even access basic Microsoft office or neither you can browse on internet since everything except Google and Amazon websites are blocked.

The salary is provided on time, and there are opportunities to access courses for learning new skills. However, we often don't have time to dedicate to learning during shift hours, as this role requires us to be in front of the laptop for the entire shift.

Dislikes

The management is very toxic, and the leadership is performing poorly in managing metrics, making employees work like robots. The main goal of this ML Data Associate role is to teach machines how to perform annotations, which should be done by humans. However, while humans naturally make mistakes, the company expects employees to work with 100% accuracy under very tough metrics, making the job extremely stressful. There is no work-life balance, and I would definitely not recommend this job to freshers, as it could ruin their careers despite being at a big company. Please avoid.

It lacks adequate work-life balance, necessitating the review of emails even late at night due to the centralized control from Seattle, which operates during typical sleep hours. The implementation of a somewhat arbitrary 14-point policy is noticeable, selectively enforced based on convenience. The quality of group meetings is subpar. The promotion of negative behavior among colleagues is encouraged, given that performance evaluations hinge not on assessments from superiors, but rather on appraisals from fellow employees, who concurrently serve as competitors.
