I feel working for amazon is just fantasy!! Amazon kills employees in the name of their policies. Complicates everyone’s job, promotions, ranking methods. There are so many people who hardly get breathing time. I highly recommend not to join Amazon if you wish a peaceful life. This experience is not just out of mine, I have enquired several people

My manager was good.. Healthy communication and work-life balance in starting but soon it started to deteriorate.

They started calling everyone back to office despite the fact that many of the work don't require to be present in office and as salary for some employees is very less .. so to live in a new state with minimal salary is not that good.

Amazon currently has no vision how to move forward. The leadership is clueless on what to bring in, they living far away from reality...in a market that's fast changing they expect teams to find out answers on why the sky is blue. One obvious answer is its already been proved that sky is blue by multiple physicist but they will ask it has to be proved by amazon way of doing it thus creating redundant work. I truly doubt how the leadership can be so naive in their thinking process, they don't even use their products themselves which is one main reason why they need surveys to understand their own app and it's flaws.

Overall I would say it's a good company to work with. There are lots of learning opportunities. The salary is not competitive atleast for those who grow within the company. If you are experienced then you may get a decent package. Earlier the job security was excellent but from last year due to macro economic conditions it is not as good as a year ago. Again, All in all a pretty decent and good company to work with.
