The exposure one gets is really good. Overall from a growth and learning perspective, a good place to be in. As a part of the consulting job, one gets to travel a lot. The good part about A&M is that you get to stay at the best of the places - mostly 5-star hotels and live a good life while you are traveling on projects away from your family.

Dislikes

... than not, MDs are interested in maintaining their P&L above everything else. Even though overall salaries are decent (a bit below other strategy consulting firms), the salary structure is not very employee-friendly. The variable component is way too high (30-50% of your annual fixed salary) which doesn't go well.

Work-life balance is not upto the expectations, constantly challenging tasks are exhausting, stay on your feet 24*7.
