... In Dec. 2022 i got selected for a process which at that time had just came in. So company was hiring people in a pace and offering very very very low Salary/CTC.
They didn’t considered the previous experience’s of people and didn’t even thought of matching their previous CTC with the new one.
Same happened to me, got hired in the flock because at that time i was also not financially stable and there were few ups and downs. I was in the pilot batch(the starting batches of the process). So as the process was new none of the employees or TM’s knew how the process worked and no one was familiar with the tools. Even the trainers didn’t knew what all things were there and how to use certain tools.
Then, the day came when we had to start taking calls and resolve customers queries. Everyone was tensed because no one knew what we have to do and how to do. We all were 4-5 batches who took the calls for the first time in that process and it just was like hell. No one knows what to do how to do and plus customers are yelling at us because we are unable to resolve their concerns.
Due to lack of process knowledge in trainers and the agents almost 20-30% of the agents left the company without any notice. Which I guess was a right decision for them at that time as we were not taught anything in our training.
Now, as the management saw that many people are resigning they came up with a hefty incentive plan which was just for 2 days because there was a lot of call rush. Me being in a need (because my pocket money was stopped by my parents😂) accepted that and worked for 20 days continuously without any week off in hopes of that I’ll get few bucks extra with my salary. Salary day came and when i checked the account i had not received the incentive which i worked for. In a very furious state i went to office and raised the concern with the management, and the reason/response i got was that i took a sick leave before starting of the incentive plan so i was not eligible. That was the very first in that company i felt like beating them to hell.
But still after these oppressions and politics of the higher management I didn’t let it affect my work and topped the charts.
I got promoted as an SME but that was also not official or on paper. It was also on their requirements. If they thought that there are alot of batches on the floor then they would make us supports but if they are not in a mood they will make us sit on regular calls plus escalation calls.
In my 1 year journey with this company i saw many things. How the office politics works. How the HR only obeys the rules or guidelines of the director or the OM.
Fun fact- when i was almost 6-7 months old in the company the managers and HR used to plot on how they could terminate employees without giving them any reasons and it happened many times that employees were just terminated. The HR staff company has is still very under-qualified and unprofessional. For them if we try to prove our innocence we are questioning the credibility of the company. Which happened many times with me in that 1 year. The only reason was that i was vocal and couldn’t withstand wrong actions or wrongdoings.
The only thing i liked was that i made true friends and met my girlfriend.
So I’ll recommend you to not go there and look out for a way way better opportunity.
Doesn’t matter if you are a tenured employee, if you want to resign. They will not even allow you to buy back notice period regardless of any reason. Same happened to me and I am disappointed.
...g period I had requested for the papers but they are not helping out on that....I was nt expecting the salary or settlement I just need experience letter to join some other company that made me feel bad about Alorica...except that all good....
