1. I joined Allstate with huge hopes in a senior role with 10+ years experience and the Ireland based ABI management lay off my entire team within a year. At this stage of our careers we were not offered any support from the HR team as there is no bench policy here. We were only offered 15 days of severance pay and were made to sign a MoU that we will not post anything on social media about this incident. I know once incident cannot determine the overall company brand value but please note this has happened inside this company and not an isolated incident that the company shouldn't held responsible for. We all struggled for 4 months to make ourselves positioned to an suitable job in an already low demand job market. We cannot explain our struggle in words, Monthly EMIs, job ghosting by other companies, other company HR taking advantage of our situations. My only request to this company is go for contract hiring only don't play with senior candidates careers. I felt like writing to Labor commission about this incident with a copy of MoU which was illegal but due to poor governance in India I thought of redirecting this energy towards something meaningful. 2. There are no onsite opportunity which is why company attracts you with little extra pay with no job security. You would be fired any day. 3. Heavy politics. I have seen position were forcefully created overnight to save a senior management employee from getting fired while the new joiners were terminated with just 15 days of severance pay.

People are helpful. Environment is very employee friendly. There are many benefits to employee in terms of salary and facilities

Dislikes

Work is very slow hence hands on experience suffers and you have to prove your competence to get work rather than work given to you.

...Promotion is big thing....they keep you waiting for years for single promotion Salary do not match up with what you get and what is shown....they even include gifts small luxury items in salary part and it looks big but you won't get that much in hand. New joiners beware

Good package..for some projects you get to work on macbook pro, flexible work hours.

Dislikes

1. Shift timings are very odd, calls will start at 8-9 pm to upto 10.30, also office timing 2-11. 2.Manager will keep appreciating people close to them, new joiners get very different treatment .At the time of appraisal many negative feedback are given to bring down ratings. 3.Similar type of work makes it monotonous.
