Dislikes

WLB is poor. Work is totally out dated. Career growth is negligible. Pay is laughable. Management is oblivious and arrogant. Managers are non-technical. HR's are arrogant and bears grudge against employees. People are untrained and lack skill. Company policies are not employee friendly and profit-oriented. Work culture is characterized by back-stabbing. Job security is non-existent. Politics is dominant. Yes boss culture is rampant. Hikes are less than inflation if not 0. Skill people are degraded by fellow members. Please work on these things.

- Poor management (you can become managers even after 5 years of experience in Industry) - Strict Micromanagement based toxic work culture - Strict Work from Office - Managers will make your life hell - People who keeps buttering managers get promoted - Managers are terrible - No particular way of working. I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
