The salary is on time. Flying with the crew members including Cabin Crew & Pilots is wonderful, they are cooperative and supportive. Being a CC You get to work with people across different states which becomes a learning experience.

Dislikes

The administration team is horrible. Some of them have already got themselves into training department before privatization, The Senior Crew members who have been flying right from inception of the company are taken over by these less experienced and corrupt Admin staff who have by support of higher authorities acquired higher positions which they don't deserve.

No human behaviour towards employees. Only salary you get, no other benefit, no free food, no tea, no bonus, no incentive, no job promotion, no new initiative, poor policies for human resources and customer handling. No assistance. No soft corner for any employee.

The company is yet to grow and is still learning. Engineering wise its a good company to learn basic skills before you fly away.

Dislikes

...e is pathetic, with old hogs and logs sitting there they move at their own pace. Compensation is poor compared to market and exploitation of labor is at its maximum.

Terrible Experience from interviewer

I once attended airindia express interview from Calicut and i was shortlisted till last round, i was very confident that i will get my dream job,but unfortunately I didn't get shortlisted then i attended from kochi and in my 1st round itself i was rejected because of one Interviewer name Pradha she is the lead Interviewer.Then from Trivandrum i attended then also she rejected me .My BMI height weight,communication all was there but because of that staff Pradha she rejected me I don't know what's the reason behind this.So from now onwards I'm not going to attend Airindia -Express interview.Beaware everyone that if there is any ego staff like this we won't get selected

Air India express being a GOI owned airline, job security is excellent though is balanced out by bureaucratic work culture. Growth is slow but work - life balance is excellent. Salary is as per industry standard and being an airline we do get 8 free tickets (subject to availability) on all Air India network.

Dislikes

This is not any dislike but a feedback to anyone in higher management. A. Management can consider having a good Canteen/Cafeteria or atleast well equipped pantry B. Job training or skills improvement programs will be beneficial C. Team building exercises/team lunches can be thought off
