Work overload is at its peak and cost cutting and squeezing employee to take maximum productivity make the work environment really tough. Also performance review is not transparent and depends on an respective manager.

... of their lame gender preference policies. No proper promotion path. Less hikes. Very less variable pay paid. No onsite opportunities.

If you get a good project with good people you are sorted and so is your compensation and promotion. The policies, Tech and everything else is top notch.

Managers control you promotion and compensation and so you have to be a licker to be in their good books.

When you join they offer good package and joining bonus.

There is low or no growth in terms of promotion and salary. Too many checks when during promotion cycle and management doesn't care until you resigned.
