Toxic culture Manager torture you daily Makes false promises while hiring, post joining you are left with no option Always understaffed, employees are over burdened Management keeps on adding process that increase stress for engineer No manager or PNC team will talk about stress management ever Every mistake from engineer ends with firing threats even if it is grammatical mistake on email Micromanagement level is worst, managers will do anything to account engineers responsible no matter whose fault it is Management never support engineers, you are on your own once you entered zscaler unless you manager’s favourite one This is story of more than a decent number of employees Most importantly you will not even spare 15-30 mins for you in working hours, employees are robot here...Read More

Job security is poor and lay off are there Most of the employee from cloudneeti taken over by Zscaler are less skilled and have poor interpersonal skill. Most of the works revolves around same repetitive work and hardly gets any skill building Most of the product security policies are from CIS benchmark with fine tuning these policies

Worst HR services and they can’t do proper communication. Team manager is worst especially from Cloud/Branch connector. The manager doesn’t have any technical skill. Don’t know how to behave with employees. Doesn’t have patience to listen on employee issues.

Company Higher management is good, but the team manager and sr managers are killing the company name.

Team manager for Cloud Connector / Branch Connecter product is worst , ruthless , inconsistent , no respect among team , constantly intimidating , lacking support , lacking technical knowledge , unfairness , unnecessary arguments , no caring, they treat freshers as a labor.

As a company, it’s doing pretty good and pays competitively. As like any other place, your work life depends on the team and manager/leadership you’re in. Luckily, my team was good and a good manager/leader so it was positive for us.

The pay raise is not so great and favouritism works here, the growth opportunity is not the same in every team and majority of the company runs on politics. there were many silent layoffs in 2024

The community within Zscaler is very strong and I’ve received help and guidance whenever required.

There is nothing to dislike and the only thing that Zscaler needs to focus on is hiring good talent.
