--Before joining I have reviewed all the comments from the employees of Zepto online but I thought it was a coolest company to work. --Poor Management makes everyone suffer and best example is this company. --I will never blame the company as I already knew the company culture is too toxic and I adamantly joined because of salary which become fish bait nowadays. -- Very bad data engineering team all the time they will be unavailable, whenever u get struck or need a help to get clarity of correct data flow or table refresh or anything data engineering team wont be available and if one data engineer is there for 3 months he will be leaving the company and another person will be joining so finding exact table and correct schema is a problem --I was in Product Analytics team IDK what to say, the leads they themselves doesn't know how to schedule a query in superset and they will expecting the data should be clean and neat within fraction of second without giving any source or data loc --we used redshift and postgres DB extensively to manipulate and to crunch numbers -- Product managers idk what to say they will be asking you to pull 3 months data lets consider that if this company makes 3 lakh orders per day and the order has 12 different legs like dispatch, delivery, arrival, everything how can someone crunch 3 months data they totally dont understand the accessability of the databases and the bandwidth and dont even hear our suggestions --- Salary will be the main issue here pls get a clarity that salary should be strictly credited on time whether u are in office or zepto made profit or not --- Poor time management -- blame game politics -- No cafeteria -- no place to sit -- very congested with only 3 rows of table -- they promised me it will be hybrid job after 1 month they forced me to come to office -- Very bad laptops with poor configs -- No proper BI Tool -- I thought people here will help me with tables names, schemas and the exact location of the data but the people here just like me they are also very new and they are also wondering where should I locate the data -- bad induction -- Tier 1 college vs other college attitudes -- Product analytics lead is a funny guy he doesnt even know how to convert a timestamp in SQL -- no lift in the building should climb 2 floors through stairs -- no extra benefits -- no paid vacations and most of the time you guys will definitely work on weekends also. -- people will insult you if you ask y database is acting slow. -- if you don't want to spend 13-14 hrs in work on daily basis then this is not a company for u -- strong leakage in management -- poor corporate culture -- even for excel access you have to wait for 3 days. -- to pull a particular rider id or order related details you need to join 11 or 12 tables together to pull the data which will make ur work even worse as normalization is not done properly where u cannot find any relationship between the tables. -- NO WORK LIFE BALANCE this job will eat ur brain and health...Read More

Sat and Sunday holiday but u have to extend your work if they ask to do it, no other things. please ask one or two employees who is already working in the company, but don't ask PM's as they need someone who can carry their sacks on others back.

There wont be any peaceful factor to satisfy about this work u cant learn anything but you can teach many things to this people like how to normalize a table etc., eg : order table will be there but order table will not have rider_id so we have join it with 7 other tables with it to get rider_id then and there itself it will take hell lot of time in execution, similarly order table wont have timestamp with different legs Poor data management, Blame game politics, urgency in everything without proper source, horrible micromanagement experience, vaping and smoking inside the floor, Extremely toxic team, Tier 1 college attitude among employees, Groupism among employees, Extremely poor HR management, most of the prod analyst wont have knowledge of building a visualization and will be assigning their work to us on several projects, No proper documentation, data analyst will be working with product team and ops team operations work extensively, no way to understand business and improve skills, they will be assigning some work we have to do it, they wont even let u know what we are working on why we are working on kind of things, several disrespectful behaviors from multiple people, No proper KT, No Proper Documentation, you have to understand the business on ur own and other abnormal tools, poor data engineering team, No one will help you find the data source, they wont tell the proper schema name table name or db name to find and work on it and even prod analytics team lead doesn't know how to convert timestamp, how to do datediff, percentile_cont, other stats. Data refresh, false entries, poor normalization and sanity will be a problem if you join here in this organization and u will be crunching certain numbers and u will be showing it to stakeholders which will again escalated to other team just because of sanity and availability and data refresh. Extending your work in late nights will be a problem in this organization you have to work at least 14 hrs. daily. Other than that no cafeteria, only coffee that too on selective hours.
