Job is secured. Decent compensation.In the path of system modernization. Great customer service, 99.9% transmission system availability. Excellent breakdown maintenance with quick restoration. Engineers working here are talented.

Dislikes

1. Site engineers are overloaded. 24x7 on the toe life for Sub-Station O&M engineers and testing engineers. 2. Site postings are rural in nature as most of the sub-Station s are located in rural areas. 3. No extra allowance or benifits for site people. 4. Slow promotion policy, stagnation after certain time.

Work Details

Work life balance is ok and depends on posting and department. For Engineers posted in head quarters 5 days a week is working day from 10:00 to 5:30. For site people it is 24x7. You should be on alert position.
