Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is no cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give kind of ok salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics, salary is decent and career growth is slow.

The job is quite interesting ! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team.

Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Company has fixed timing, Travelling expenses can be saved as it is 5 mins walking distance from nahur station. Very friendly Staffs. Shift Timings are pretty good. You can Work from Home as well.

Dislikes

Have to sit extra hours if target not completed. You wont get much salary increment. Bonuses is also not given. Only on Diwali ull get a bonus apart from that u cannot expect bonus.
