No goal setting or performance measurement process. No irritating emails, HR follow-ups for the same and so a lot of time is saved there. But for the annual variable pay, you do need to conjecture something up.

Lack of both product culture & engineering culture. Strategies and focus change week on week, month on month. Product has a dotted line reporting to engg which over time seems to be converting to a full line. With no clear direction, product rarely ships any impactful features and there is a constant struggle to catch-up with competition. It seems the primary aim/strategy is to get new users via marketing with minimum efforts into retention. There is no goal-setting process at quarter or annual level....Read More
