The organization provides platform to the individuals coming from various background to work upon developmental goals and learn from it. I love the fact that I am a part of dynamic team that is implementing a project in direct collaboration with Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports on Youth Development issues. The plus point is thatthe team is an amalgamation of dynamic field staff coming from each of the 29 states which helps us to learn a lot of developmental challenges faced by youths in every nook and corner of the country. Working with UNV has provided me opportunity to travel in rural India, experience different cultures and the indigenous methods and ideas to deal with the local challenges. For me the learning under this project is a life changing experience....Read More

Compensation is terms of Voluntary Living Allowance is very less but the career growth can be exceptional. No long term job security for UNV.
Work Details
My work at UNV India is slightly challenging as I have to look after the progress made by field staff of entire ten Indian states and stakeholders involved in youth development.

I used to work in Electrical and mechanical engineering as generator mechanic supervisor, promoted as Engineering coordinator and then assigned as deputy project engineer. I used to Installe, repair, fix faults on generators, electrical installations.
