Had a very good team to work with. Having worked with country office in Delhi,then in Patna, Guwahati and Bhopal from where I retired as operations officer in 2012. Training were conducted from Induction. Training was a par and parcel of the regular activity to update the various changes on programs , policies, procedures , security, admin,finance and HR policies etc from to time at various levels of staff. Frankly speaking having spent 25yeard in corporate sector and then joining UNICEF was a big change. With initial adjustment issues for an year as I was on contract, there were no major issues. Then the job security was a major worry for many. In my case l had almost 4 double promotions in 15years. That all my hard work and effortswere acknowledged. Ethics, partiality, I was over worked with the promises of assured growth and under paid after investing over 10+ hours everyday for the work. Never expected such a great organisation to be be a traumatic experience.
