A company which has to undergo reorg two times in a span of two years has its fundamentals completely wrong. People being laid off with 1 hour notice is so insensitive. How will anyone build a career here? Few points to be highlighted: - The management expects the team to be autonomous, but micromanagement is still practiced - Company promotes "Being Bold". But retaliation is shown when an employee points out the gaps in management - In a span of 3 years, the company had to undergo 2 org changes. The downsizing threat is ever present. What promotes job security? - Benefits are used in a way to mask the toxic culture - Stop giving weightage to feedback just because it comes from Romania. Scrutinize the feedback provided to validate it first - The HR function is a whole different ball game. During the exit interview, a word document is sent to be filled by the employee. Half of the questions in that form are illegible. No one is there to talk to the exiting employee. - Majority of the decisions are self-contradicting - For example: If the Manager sets a goal "Maintain a performance score of 60 for a training". How can an individual who develops the training maintain this? Because it depends on so many external factors which are totally not in the control of the developer -LMS performance, Video buffering, Platform user experience etc. Lastly, be very careful in joining a firm where content development is not a core dependability of the firm. Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. HR couldn’t help, and the stress is affecting my mental health. Should I stay or resign? Will leaving early harm my career? If I stay, how can I manage this .without losing my peace?
