For an experienced employee who stays long term has several benefits. Long term relationship with the company would benefit you in the ways of faster promotions.I've seen project managers with overall 6-7 years industrial experience here.

The appraisal is not based on employee performance and experience. Good appraisals are given to employees on major projects. Even if some employees are working better on other projects, they are ignored. There is no work-life balance for certain people, and their work is still underappreciated. Appreciation is given only to employees on certain projects
