Salary is decent once you join. Work Life Balance is Good & Job security is Good

Company Culture - The management in Finance/Accounting Department has an licking culture. Favoritism. Work is very manual and systems are decades old. Work which you get is something the US Team detest to work. Promotions are for those in managers good books and not performance based

Overall TIAA is a good company. Problem is with few Directors and their repartees. For example if you get the opportunity under AD Kannan and Director Kelvin then your career is gone for the toss. These fellow gives priority to only females'. Female gets the promotion in a year and other counterpart has to wait for years for the promotion and good hike. Similar is the case who comes in their Hierarchy....don't join if you get the offer under their vertical. Check with HR who will be director and who will be the manager. (HR will help you in this.). One more thing, no matter how good you are performing, if you are male, avg hike and appraisal is fixed. If you are female and can gel up with manager and Kelvin very well, you can expect the timely promotion, hike and retention if you leave the organization. All the best....Read More

Work is Ok but most of the things are full or politics and favoritism. Also you will get the filthy food in the cafeteria which is also tiny.
