Not the standard IT company. Have to clear 8 exams year after year - that is 2 exams per quarter and 40 exams in 5 years as the exam validity is only for 2 years (You might be writing these exams for more than 5-8 years and it might not end), otherwise annual appraisal will be affected. The standard salary hike will be added to non used salary component such as superannuation effectively negating the hike, so you will not get any hike in the fixed salary. Superannuation is a non-existent component used to pad up the salary while joining and the same component is used for faking salary hike for years after joining.
