Job security is main point people join here.Learning here is all about project. Office infrastructure is good, Cultural events are good too.

Dislikes

Even if you are average in coding don't join here, it will b a huge risk if u dont get a good project. You have to pay some amount for health insurance. Favouritism is there. Even if you are good in work you won't get promoted for a long time. Don't expect a hike.

No work life balance particularly for my project,and increment is almost nothing my take home salary is same from past 2 years.

No leaves approvals no Saturdays and sundays and no holidays... Plus they give u worst possible rating... And its not just my story all the junior associates in my project.

Job security is the only thing which is good here as they will never fire you even if you just come to the office and logout in the end without doing any work.

1. If you are dedicated to your work, management will give you the opportunity for a level above but deny for on roll papers stating that it is not in TCS policy. In addition, you would have to work with same salary but yes your work load will get increase as they have given you the opportunity</mark>. 2. If you ask something for your benefit like another opportunity/ leave/ release from project, they will behave like you have asked them to give their land and will scolding you. Instances, they will change your seat, start coming on your desk and watching your system to see what work you are doing, change your shift and here tourture will start. 3. TCS has poor transport management. No one listen the employees concern. Here if you will go to the transport head..he simply says " why are you coming to me" I am a admin person. If you will talk to another transport member, they ask to talk to the transport head..and this goes in loop which has no end. 4. IT Employees have to pay for transport cabs but there is no deduction for BPS employees. 5. Cafeteria is full of rats roaming around the food which assocites eat on daily basis....Read More

Not a good place to work. If you are a true professional and want learning+growth in your career, then this company is a definitely 'NO'. Gone are those days when TCS used to pay a lot to its employees. Now all the old employees who hold high positions in this company take a lot of money & give poor salary to people at low ranks(in the name of appraisals boot-lickers get good reviews). One thing, for the same position, if someone is switching into TCS she/he will get more salary as compared to other who are already working in TCS, beforehand. Ya! People only wear good clothes, but their mentality is worse. Employees are forced to work in a project, even if they want to leave that project.
