Worst thing about Tata Communications is it's filthy work politics. Tata Communications is full of people who lack skill set and don't have ambition to grow in life. Many people take good learning/experience and move on from here (because from Technical point of view, there are many good things to learn from here), however most of the people in Tata feel like working in Tata is like a govt job, and hence they stop being passionate about career, and just become comfortable and lazy. They just sit here for years and years, until it's too late to realise that they should find a new job.. but then since they started looking out too late, they can't get a job anywhere because they have lost their spark and also didn't gain any skills in so many years.. They also loose their confidence, and hence they get frustrated. So now they will start doing politics and try to grow within company, but by using cunning tactics, and pulling each other's leg. And not just that, they feel jealous with any young team members who are actually more talented than them. So they will mentally torture young people, make them work too much, and also won't give any good hike, no promotion for years.. So in the end, young talented people get frustrated due to no growth and finally switch the job after loosing hope. I have worked in Tata Communications and never want to go back to Tata Communications, even if it is the last company remaining on earth....Read More
