Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. HR couldn’t help, and the stress is affecting my mental health. Should I stay or resign? Will leaving early harm my career? If I stay, how can I manage this .without losing my peace?

Work pressure is very high, Sometimes I have to work 14 - 18 hrs a day and there is no comp off for it. Also there is no mid-year appraisal system here and even after a year you can not expect good salary hike or position. There is no soft skill training or they are not allowing you to learn any new software even if you are idle. They will give raw SB and asking you to do the draft development.

Good Career growth with lot of learning opportunities. Nice work culture with job security. Allowed to continue working from home during Covid-19 pandemic.

Dislikes

No major issue in terms of working. In campus facilities like cafeteria, Gymnasium, free food and transport facilities to employees should be provided.

I would not recommend anyone joining this company as long as you really need a job and no other offers in hand. Work is unplanned and overnight work is a regular. Infrastructure is really basic. Only saving grace is that CEO of Parent company is very competent.

Dislikes

Terrable mid and higer level management, no SOP or HR policies. No wage hikes for years and very grim future. Job security is a major concern.
