Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. HR couldn’t help, and the stress is affecting my mental health. Should I stay or resign? Will leaving early harm my career? If I stay, how can I manage this .without losing my peace?

Its a good place to work if you are looking for job security, benefits and being associated with Tata group. The management tries to be supportive and help you with everything. Food Safety training is on point.

Dislikes

There is a constant clash between management & union. The people who are associated with union make it difficult to keep the work process straightforward. The attitude of people working is very laid back. The work is monotonous & hectic if you are a chef. I used to be at work for more than 12 hours where as a person associated with union could just complete their 8 hour shift and leave without being accountable....Read More

I like the people working there but only some of them it’s like a family. Some chefs are really nice and encourage you for doing better. Also pretty clean in some departments.

Dislikes

Work culture is really bad and there’s no team work. Some chefs don’t even know about food and stuff I don’t know how they are chefs. Especially in butchery department there’s a chef called khadak singh he’s the worst, will curse you for no reason about your mom and sister and will demotivate you a lot. Doesn’t matter how much you work he will give you shit for no reason and if you think i am lying you can ask Hygiene department. Everyone smokes there a lot, eats a lot of chewing tobacco even in the department. The chicken they use smells like shit I don’t know how nobody notices it. They wash it with chlorine and use it with is really harmful even the fishes are washed with chlorine when they start smelling. Overall experience was so bad will never work with them. zero knowledge catering manager because of that bad food late service 1 staff doing work of almost 2-3 staff work less manpower poor service in catering line fresher and skill people don't apply waste of time because of management still I have respect for TATA but horrible management
